Chevy 6 teams up with The Ramblers at WorkPlay August 17

It was billed as A Long Hot Summer Dance, but temperatures in Birmingham were in the low 70s when Chevy 6 and the Ramblers took the stage at acoustically delightful WorkPlay in Birmingham.

The crowd may have been chilly outside, but warmed up quickly as the two bands alternated sets of feel-good stuff. There was sweat aplenty and raucous response, making for a great night of old music and old friends.

The incredible John Livingston substituted on keyboards for Bob Norman, who was off gallivanting in Pensacola with some of his reprobate friends. It was great, but we still missed Bob.
